He who believes he can or he can't is right - Ultramarathonner wisdom
“He who says he can, and he who says he can't, are both usually right” 👌
What can I say about the New Hampshire Hamsterwheel Ultra race this weekend?
It was an epic race and a top notch event by Darby Conley and Bill Conley!! 🙌
I knew with the cold NH temps, it wasn’t gonna be easy, but it was gonna be worth it. 🔥
It coulda been so easy to stay warm in bed; and just do brunch like a normal person. But we ultra runners are not normal. 🤷🏻♂️😂
Instead I set out to accomplish my 100 mile goal I set for myself this year. To be the best version of myself and to inspire others.
This sport attracts a special kind of individual.
👌 One with an relentlessly optimistic attitude to just keep pushing forward. Whether you feel awesome, or you feel absolutely beyond terrible, every small step is relentless forward progress!
Individuals that are intrinsically motivated and must have a growth mindset to be successful. Complainers, negative nancies, or pessimists need not apply without first spending deliberate practice to change their mindset. 👊🏻
I’d like to thank my family Nichole Framularo, Angelo R. Framularo II, ReGina Fram, Linnette Rose Framularo, Momma Fram and Pappa Fram for always inspiring me, supporting my goals, and being the best crew ever! 🙏
My coaches Lisa Tamati and Neil Wagstaff from Running Hot Coaching 🏃🏻♂️🏃♀️, for their great training programs, priceless advice, and inspiration.🔥
My fellow EPIC Fairfield County teammates and Coaches, for always having a “get it done attitude” to overcome obstacles literally and figuratively 👏👏👏
And my fellow Vermont Adaptive Run 2 Empower teammates, the CT Trailmixers, Happy Hour Run Club team, and everyone that I’ve gotten to share miles at such great events!
You are all AWSM! Let’s continue to Aspire to be AWSM and be the best version of ourselves. 👏🙏🔥😎
